【和光の大神（天照大御神）｜A4ジークレー額装作品】
日本の豊かさと尊さ、そして私たちが日々生かされていることへの感謝を込めて描いた作品です。
この作品は、私自身の「第二の人生の始まり」と、日本の原点ともいえる「和の精神」への祈りを重ねて制作しました。
中央に描かれた、稲穂を抱く天照大御神は、古くから私たちの暮らしを支えてきた「光」と「いのち」の象徴です。
向かって右側の白鷺は「阿」、左側の白鷺は「吽」。
神社に並ぶ狛犬のように、物事の始まりから終わりまで、そして二つの存在が一つにつながる「調和」を表しています。
衣には鳥居を思わせる赤の文様を配し、裾には光の中から浮かび上がる鳳凰を描きました。
日本の伝統、祈り、清らかさ、そして未来へ向かう力を、静かでありながら力強い姿として表現しています。
この絵が、日本という国の美しさや受け継がれてきた心を見つめ直すきっかけとなり、人と人とが互いを思いやり、再び一つにつながっていくための小さな光となれば幸いです。

The Great Deity of Harmonious Light (Amaterasu Omikami)
A4 Giclee Print, Framed
I painted this work out of gratitude: for the richness of Japan, for what is precious in it, and for the simple fact that we are given each day to live.
It carries two things at once. The beginning of my own second life, and a prayer toward what may be the origin of this country, the spirit of wa, of harmony.
At the center stands Amaterasu Omikami, the sun deity of Shinto, holding rice in her arms. For as long as anyone can remember she has been the symbol of the light and the life that sustain our days.
The white heron on the right is "A." The one on the left is "Un." Like the paired guardian dogs standing at the approach to a shrine, they hold the beginning and the end of all things between them, and with it the harmony of two beings becoming one.
Her robe carries a red pattern that recalls a torii gate. At the hem, a phoenix rises out of the light. Tradition, prayer, clarity, and the strength to walk forward: I wanted all of it present at once, quiet and strong at the same time.
If this painting gives someone a reason to look again at the beauty of this country and the heart passed down through it, and if it becomes a small light by which people think of one another and are drawn together again, that would be enough.
It is also a work in which I set down my own resolve: that from here on, I walk my life toward the light.
My hope is that a new light reaches the heart of whoever stands before it, and that the piece becomes one more grounds for hope on the way to a calm and brighter future.
That said, this work guarantees no power and makes no religious claim. It is a painting. I would be glad if you simply received it as a piece that brings a little light and quiet to the room it is given.
◆ Created by the artist
Drawn entirely by hand on iPad, from first composition to final detail. This is an original digital painting by the artist. It is not AI-generated.
◆ Giclee printing
The original artwork is printed with archival pigment inks using the giclee process: 9 to 12 inks, capable of holding gradations, the patterns of the robe, the rice ears and the feather detail that ordinary printing flattens out. It is the method used for reproducing fine art and photographic work, valued for both color fidelity and longevity.
Printed on either an HP DesignJet Z9+ PS (B0) or an Epson SureColor SC-P9550, selected per piece according to the artwork and the paper used.

A gold dessin frame, chosen to meet the color of the work. The glazing is UV-cut acrylic, blocking approximately 97% of ultraviolet light to slow fading and color shift.
Longevity depends on where the piece is kept. Light, temperature and humidity all play a part.
